Bloompark assisted the Church with the application and staging of the approved DA via a Section 4.55 application and led the contractor tender.
The Church and hall will accommodate 275 parishioners. Bloompark is currently administering the contract as the superintendent for the Church.
Stage 1 works for the multi-purpose hall are underway, including topsoil removal, bulk excavation, and cut and fill works to level the site in preparation for foundations. Site challenges have included managing site remediation and coordinating design for a future Masterplan of the site.
The hall will temporarily host the Mar Yosip Parish congregation until the permanent church is built. Once finished, the new hall, car park, and landscaped surrounds will offer a welcoming space for the Assyrian Church community.
