Bloompark led the refurbishment and decanting of Abbotsleigh’s existing Senior Studies Centre to support the evolving needs of the School and enable seamless integration with the new Arts & Science Centre.
The works involved extensive modifications to accommodate the Design & Technology, Innovators, and Maths departments, with a focus on transitioning learning environments from analogue to digital outputs and creating flexible spaces that support diverse teaching styles.
Close consultation with key stakeholders was essential to ensure the design responded to both current and future pedagogical needs. Enhancements to the building’s façade were also made to improve natural light and the overall quality of teaching spaces. The result is a contemporary, adaptive facility that maximises functionality and supports long-term educational outcomes.
